Corporate Relations - The current market requires we focus on relations with retailers and corporate decision makers. This is at the forefront of our work because 90% of our “A” accounts carry products approved by corporate or regional decision-makers .


Field Sales - Our field sales staff concentrates on servicing an assigned list of retail accounts.  We have effective working relationships with several types of retailers - retail chains, regional chains, independent stores, Co-ops, and specialty retailers.  In the Pacific Northwest, some of these are: PCC Natural Markets,  New Season's Markets, Sprouts Farmers Markets, INFRA stores, Rosauers Markets / Huckleberry’s, Market of Choice, QFC/Fred Meyer, Town & Country Markets, Metropolitan Markets, Pharmaca, NCGA Co-ops, Vitamin Cottage, Haggen Northwest Fresh, Whole Foods Markets, Bartell's and many independent stores and Co-ops. 

Virtual Contact - When field sales activity is not possible, MSNW actively uses 'virtual' meeting tools to work with customers.  These meetings include product presentations to buyers and management and product training for store staff, 


Education - To effectively sell to the retailers, extensive product education is a vital part of every sales call.  Our representatives, with their wide-ranging natural product knowledge, perform regular store trainings.  Over 20 years of experience working with varied nutritionists, herbalists, and doctors has added to our ability to efficiently educate distributor and store personnel.  Trainings on a regular basis insure staff product loyalty, and increases in sales.  There are immeasurable benefits when store buyers and staff are empowered with product knowledge. These many benefits extend out to the consumer.


Advertising and Promotional Campaigns - We know that the regular use of ads and promotions is a vital contributor to developing high volumes of product movement and reaching new customers.  MSNW works to coordinate ads on a regular basis, whether with a progressive 'B' account or at the corporate level with larger "A" accounts.  We prefer to work with the manufacturer to establish a marketing and advertising budget based on the previous year's sales as well as future sales targets.


Demonstrations -  With the restrictions in place to help stop the spread of Covid-19, many retailers have prohibited or temporarily curtailed in-store demonstrations.  When market condition, MSNW will re-emphasize product demonstrations in stores.  Our approach is that when accompanied by a promotional program or high-profile product display; quality product demos in stores are very effective. We manage demos as part of our marketing budget and typically conduct the demo events in high traffic, high volume key accounts.


New Store Sets, Re-sets, and Planograms - Retailers consistently request MSNW's help in planning and placement of products in new stores or during remodeling of existing stores.  As a result, we are involved in many store sets including display configuration and shelf space assignments for the product lines.  Our presence and involvement in these projects enables us to work directly with the store personnel to choose the best locations to display the lines we represent.
